1. There is a 14-day return policy
Rad Power Bikes offers free returns within 14 days of delivery. In order to return your e-bike you must contact customer service within 14 days of receiving the bike, the bike must have less than 10 miles on the odometer, and you must return all items in the original packaging. Tips for returning your RadMission 1
You will need to repackage the e-bike exactly how you received it in order to return it.
- Keep the box intact
- Save all packaging materials
- Take photos of how the bike is packaged

2. The bike does not arrive fully assembled
It is important to know that when you order a RadMission 1 online, it does not arrive fully assembled. You will need to add the handle bars, headlight, seat, front wheel, and pedals.
Although the bikes are partially assembled upon delivery, Rad Power Bikes partners with mobile bike shops that will drive to your home and set up the rest of the bike for you.

3. You can assemble the bike yourself
Although the manufacturer offers a professional service to set up your bike, you can easily assemble the RadMission 1 yourself. The bike will take about a half hour to an hour to set up as long as you have the proper tools.
Rad Power Bikes has an in-depth instructional video for each bike that makes the assembly process simple. Just follow along with the steps in the video and pause when needed.
4. The proper assembly tools are not included
An assembly toolkit is included in the box, but it only includes basic Allen wrenches and wrenches that are not suitable for safely assembling an electric bicycle. The manufacturer even recommends that you should not use these tools and you should invest in the right tools for the job.

1. Allen Wrench Torque Wrench with 6NM and 10 NM settings.
The newton-metre is a measurement of torque and it is important that you do not over-tighten or under-tighten the screws on your bike.

Surprisingly, the RadMission 1 does not come with a kickstand. If you want a kickstand, you will need to purchase it for an additional $15. It is best to purchase the kickstand and any accessories with your initial purchase to avoid paying additional shipping charges.
